Bugger me mate :shock: , like you said lucky it happened where it did & not in town or even on hitting the twisties, manage that happened mid corner. Keep us posted when you find out what happened.

The R1200R headlight (for me) i find is very good, not outstanding, but it does the job what its ment to do. As i do half of my daily commute at night i was very surprised when i first bought the R12R how well it lit up the road. My old bike a 2006 GSX1400 had a awful headlight, which i did not reli...

Staintune mate, these no repacking, its top grade stainless steel, will last forever & it looks bloody nice 8) .

Don't get me started oops! too late .. an aussie list Sheep - one is bad (unpredictable) - a mob is worse. I've had a large mob spill onto the road around me like a woolly river - had singed wool on BOTH exhaust pipes (this was a 1982 Ducati 900SS) .. and on a loose gravel raod, I was a tad .. um ....

Damm shame about the weather mate, as we all know doing a multi-day trip there is always a chance of riding into crap, mind draining, why do the storm gods hate me sort of weather but glad you came out of it in one piece.

Mate, you are better of replacing it before your trip otherwise it will be on the back of your mind throughtout the trip.

I just replaced mine because i 'felt' it was time too, & thats with 35k's & 2yrs old.
