That's one clean shiney bike! Nice pictures!

I have to say, I could have ridden through Montana for a week or two last July on the way to Spokane and back. I thoroughly enjoyed it and these photos bring it all back. Thanks!

...and it will be again!...

...someday. This is a sad day for you I know. But once you bounce back from the tickets and get the finances in order...and the associated blues and blahs (been there, done that) are only nasty memories, the old familiar itch of the wind in your teeth will return. And by then your perspective may be...

ROBBIE! YOUR GONNA BE MY NEIGHBOR!

I'm in the process of buying a house back over in Woodstock. I've been in Cumming for a year and a half. Let us know where you are. Ellijay? Clayton? Hiawassee? Blue Ridge? Maybe you can teach me how to REALLY ride.

Oh! Congratulations on the hitch-up.

I'm sitting here in Atlanta right now with drizzling rain everywhere and wishing I was YOU!

Sounds like a great time! Look forward to some photos when you get back.

Thanks.

Getting Intimate with Mityvac and Brake Fluid

It's been about a year since I changed out my brake/clutch fluids so I decided this was the day. I have a three day southeast GA jaunt next weekend to collect some courthouse photos and I wanted to get it done before that ride also. I bought me a fresh bottle of DOT 4 fluid yesterday along with some...

Rootin was that mystery RT rider in Bob's photo above. That's the first tim e I've seen the RT. I love my R1150R black beauty, but I secretly lust after an RT.....Please don't tell her.

Nice pics. Wish I could have been out there to see some of that snow.

In my next life I want to come back as a motorcycle seat.

But my luck I'd be on a bike that Pat bought!

JC-I've been over there several times to that area. I love Mentone! ...and Desoto Falls Park. I have to agree with you on the area's charm. It's just a hop-skip-and a jump from here in north Gerogia.

I even have a few pics here somewhere....hold on....

Check back later. I have to upload.

Sunday Morning-More Courthouses

Well, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of GA "Georgia Mountain Rally" was this past weekend and it pert near rained them out. I didn't go, because I've been sick and didn't think I'd like camping in rainy weather. But as it turned out Sunday became a beautiful day in the neighborhood! I got my co...

Trick question? Right? Yeah. I always warm it up real hot. With at last a 20 minute brisk ride around the hood. Then I have to wedge a piece of wood under the rear wheel to tilt it up to drain more out, because at some point my bike has become un-balanced. It no longer teeters on the center stand, b...

Rufus -Nice report. Two critiques. 1.) You should register on the board and enjoy all the benefits... 2.) Post some pics on Smugmug (or elsewhere) and let us all see some of those scenes.....with the bike in some of them of course. I'd really like to get to Gettysburg one of these days. I've heard ...

O.P.! Dude! That was great! Man I have to agree with you on the bike's affinity for carrousing. My wife (back when I had a wife) would ride with me, but it was really hard to "take it easy". It also is not a really good two-up bike for that reason. It carries the extra weight alright, and ...

Well, when I asked her (the owner, Bob Woolridge's wife, Linda) I had the RR in mind but after thinking about it for a day or so, I think you may be right. I think she might have been referring to the K Roadster. 'Cause all I asked her was when was the new Roadster coming out. And I thought I was on...

A Great Ride...and Then Maintenance.

I got off fairly late on a ride to the dealership this morning. Two things, I wanted to see the new R bikes they have there and I needed another quart of Redline Grease for my tranny. I wandered around the showroom floor trying to decide which one I wanted to take my picture with. They let me sit on...

Pat, that's the jacket I've been using the last 2 summers. Only once in August of Alabama heat and humidity did I have to shed it for more air. The leathert parts seem ample for the trade off in coolness.

Tasmania

Marko, it seems you've linked to the smugmug page where the pics are but not to the pics themselves. Pull up the pic and right click on it and copy the location to the clipboard. Then paste that location on the post here with the IMG tags.

BTW nice Tasmania ride, you "devil" you.:-)
