Finally got the write-up done, did the job nearly a month ago.
Had to cut the hoses just exactly the right length to get everything
to fit nicely, info and pictures in the write-up, below.
Used 3' of that expensive efi hose instead of 6'. That saved about $25.
Has worked perfectly with no leaks.
Now a simple flat blade screwdriver and 5 minutes gets the filter changed,
without removing anything. After getting the pump & filter assy out of the tank,
I sure wouldn't want to have to do that on any kind of regular basis, or
especially get caught with a bad batch of gas out on the road, maybe even
in the dark.
Tucked up just in front of the little black panel on the right side below the fuel tank
and above the throttle body.
