It is not really difficult after you figure it out. I have mine marked where it lightly engages. I accelerate a little bit, pull in the clutch and let off the throttle at the same time, twist the Throttlemeister to where my mark is up, let out the clutch as I gently twist the throttle and that's all there is to it. Pretty easy after you get the hang of it - just takes a couple of seconds.

I use the O-ring. I leave it in my tank bag and put it on in highway situations.
