GS oilcooler on a 1150R?

I dont like the "wings" on the gastank and want it in center of the engine in sted. What do you think?

Just my opinion, but the R1150R tank looks strange without the "wings":



You would have some metal- and bodywork to do in order to clean up the oil cooler side mount brackets.

Oliver replaced his R1100R's side coolers with single unit attached at engine front:

I bought the R1200R oil cooler shroud back in my xABS period, thinking I might simplify gas tank handing by replacing side coolers with single lower cooler. It's a back burner project now.

Thanks, I like the gastank this way;-) Looks wery big and heavy original...

On 1100r there will be different. You got the cooler to close to the exhaust, and then the cooler will not give enough cooling because of the heat. 1150r have more space, so therefor I think about a 1200-cooler as well.

I think you'll ruin the looks of the bike.
