I live on Fort Leavenworth, KS. IMO the roads on the Kansas side seem better than on the Missouri side. If you poke around you can find some twisties, especially out in the country. There are wide open spaces to ride here, and the traffic is minimal. More hills on the Missouri side heading east. I t...

My front tire arrived yesterday afternoon from Pirelli. Rear got here from Motorcycle Superstore.com a week ago. Total cost for front and rear tires - about $145. They look great. Looking forward to getting them mounted up and some warmer riding weather.

Thanks to all who helped.

Just checked the status page and it appears Pirelli received my registration and proof of purchase paperwork in the mail. They have assigned a "claim number" and charged my credit card the $25 shipping charge. Now we'll see how long it takes to ship (I'll get an email with tracking number)...

That looks really good. I've also been contemplating a black pc for my wheels for some time now. How about a left side pic as well? Thanks in advance.

I've got a 35-inch inseam. I'm using the tall seat. Pretty comfy - though there are times I'll stretch the legs out on top of the jugs.

That bike looks really hot. Here's what appears to be the mods: 1) Decals removed 2) Black painted wheels 3) Clear turn signal lenses 4) Trimmed rear fender 5) Windscreen (stock BMW speedster?) - painted black or tinted 6) Laser can and y-pipe 7) Black painted heads - possibly carbon covers? 8) Pass...

Ok - lock cores are out. Off to BMW later this week. Picking the locks was actually easier than removing the cores - hehehehehe. I used a 2mm allen wrench in the hole and my ignition key to pull them. Hopfully I can have these rekeyed to match or simply buy new ones. Either way - cases are in like n...

Ok kids....this is going to make you feel real good about the security of your system cases. Figured I'd see if I could pick the locks. Grabbed the first thing that came to mind, which happened to be the nail file on a pair of toenail clippers. Inserted file into the lock - a little jigging - and wh...

Mixr,

Cases arrived locked. I have the VIN and engine #. I did a search in previous thread but came up empty handed. Engles suggested drilling the locks, but thought that perhaps there was a better alternative. Thanks.

Help! - Missing Key for System Cases

Just bought a set of Systems Cases off of eBay. Seller forgot to mention the key went with the sale of the bike. Hmmmmm. He was kind enough to provide the VIN and engine number. Talked to Engle Motors in KC - they said this didn't help. I am expecting to buy new locks (though these could be rekeyed ...
