I bet your wires are crimped...look at the wires that is going thru your headlight...on the left side. We have alot of reports of the zip tie was too tight

I have a 99 R1100R for sale with hard cases. It only has 4000 miles on it.

I drove my 99 R100R today to work...I thought I had a dead battery, because it was in a trickle charger and was still dead!! But after putting it on my 1amp charger it held a charge. I had a 2000 Honda Sabre fot about 6 months....I always bought Hondas, Yamahas,etc. But those bike are not meant to get alot of miles on them because they are not made good as the BMW.I wish I would had test drove it first.......The bike looked good but I hated the engine sound and the solid rims. I am glad you got it running.....I am thinking about changing my fuel filter....is it a big deal??

I love my R1100R....I have been riding since 1979. So I do have some riding experience...This bike will never be for sale
