Taosport: Great, Great report. I've been thinking about getting a 5 piece or 6 piece to carry on my bike ever since I got back from Alaska (sorry, no trip report yet). What rod are you using? Wt? Reel? It looks like a 4wt or 5wt? This may be my favorite report of yours so far. That is an excellent p...

I got the car (and it's bumper) to the auto repair place. The guy who estimated it said it was very easy for those things to come off and I could pull it off with my hands if I wanted to. As if! So, I could pull it off with my hands, but it's going to take $240.00 to put it back on with theirs!!! :?...

Could be one of those three. When I can get some help taking it in, I'll ask about those things.

I haven't seen a bumper doctor around here. That would be nice though.

I don't want to give ANY details,.....but......

.........but don't you think it is kind of odd that a whole bumper can just fall off a car without somewhat of a major hit to it? I mean just a nudge surely can't knock a bumper off, right? Pics below. BTW, ignore the shopping cart in the background. Don't ask. But how much do you think it will cost...

Doug: Thanks for the report. I enjoyed the photos immensely. My favorite was inside the Virginian. I liked the lighting coming from the window coupled with the furnishings from the past. It gave it a haunting feeling. I've travelled those roads in the past. It went near my favorite place in the worl...

MikeCam:

I'm trying to get to the '07 bash and am still working on details and such. So could you hold a private room/private bath for me? Even if I can't make it, it's still worth the $70 I'd lose to reserve a spot just in case.

Count me in!!!!! (tentatively :? )

Kristi; You might not have known, but this is a great faux pas. Its like me asking your weight or age and just one of those mysteries we of the loyal order of the tank bag don't like to divulge. However, I don't like to stand on ceremony and (because I'm really bored at work) thought I'd give you a...

Actually, it ended up being a concerted effort of everyone's advice that finally led me to the part. The guy Chris told me about at Ebay did not have the part, but the lead helped me get more information. I ended up joining the SuzukiCalvacade.com site that JCsman suggested. After a while someone fi...

What's in YOUR Tank Bag?

After seeing the inside of another board member's Tank Bag in the "Pelican Case" thread on this forum, I realized my tank bag "innards" are woefully lacking in functionality (other than the water, weapon, Lipstick, and money). So I was kind of wondering what other people carry in...

A follow up on the OK Monitor search: Background: http://r1150r.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=7509 After finally locating what must be the last remaining 1986 Suzuki Cavalcade OK Monitor in the universe, I ordered it. After 20 emails back and forth, the seller finally shipped it to me ................ w...

Did you leave any foam in the bottom of the Pelican case for cushion even after you got the Lowepro insert?

Cool idea - A Theme ride. It reminded me of the movie "Bridges of Madison County" which most of you have probably never seen since it is a "chick flick".

I liked the picture of the bridge in the distance taken from the side view.

Thanks DJ.

I only kept some of the Silver Salmon. But the bears got to keep ALL the fish they could catch.

(I didn't get to keep any of the bears )

There really isn't a forum for me to post about my Alaska Katmai Wilderness fishing trip on this board since I didn't take a motorcycle or even look for a rental or even see a bike in the wilderness. But because you asked, I'll show you a couple of fish. I took over 1000 pictures of my two weeks the...

gotta have it

I have to get one of those!!! I have 3 L lenses but haven't carried them on the bike because I had not seen anything that coupled safety with convenience until I saw your setup. I'll start saving immediately!! Thanks for showing it to us, Michael.
