Every Garmin GPS I have ever owned would show altitude, including the Zumo 550. The only problem with the Zumo is that you cannot choose what data you want to see on any particular screen. All the info is there, just have to get to the right screen to see it.

90K on an '04.

Easier to fix in my garage than beside the road, a.k.a. preventive maintenance. I know that brushes have a finite life, as does most everything else, and if the alternator quits, you won't get far.

The PR2's were available last winter and this spring. I bought and wore out two sets since Dec. '07. Now however, there seems to be a problem getting the fronts. I am going to try a PR2 on the rear with the regular PR on the front. I have no idea what the problem may be.
