Re: ASC - How do you know if you really need this option?
My current ride is a 2001 Honda VT750 cruiser and I haven't felt any rear wheel spins (other than when the motorcycle is moving, haha). Most of my time riding is on the highway, commuting to work.

Re: ASC - How do you know if you really need this option?
There's a R12R that I want to buy, but it doesn't have ASC, so I'm hesitant in buying it. It seems ASC is a must have option for the R12R.

Having the motorcycle license and nothing to ride is very frustrating. Something you might look at is to find a Harley deale...

Re: The R1200R as a first bike.
What a great community! All the comments are very helpful and shed some light on things I didn't think about. The decision is to find a used motorcycle in the 500cc - 800cc range (cruiser/standard bike). The R1200R is something I will come back to in the near future. My son is interested in getting ...

The R1200R as a first bike.
Hi everyone; I'm proud to say that I've passed the MSF course and have my motorcycle license. At 39 years old, my very first and only experience with a motorcycle is with the loaner bike (250cc) at the MSF course. The past several months I've been searching and researching motorcycles, both on the i...
