Old news I know, but I had bad spark plug lead wire on bottom RH cyl. @ one time that use to fall off of spark plug, and never noticed the difference, but bike had a small rpm drop @ idle, so when I noticed the 50-100 rpm drop I knew plug wire was off again!

The number you gave appears to be transmission serial number not part number of transmission as number you are seeing is just behind timing plug on rh side of transmission case as "000####JAX" (is for 2004 R1150RT's) and your #'s has same style

Exide Gel Battery in 2004 R1150RT has "use before" 5/2009 stamped on case! should I start saving for another battery? How long should I expect the std. Gel batteriery to last from that date? I assume like date on bread & Milk! Battery was in m/c when purchased several months ago.
