I have a sebring on my rockster. The quality of the pipe is top notch.I noticed some improvement in power but the weight savings was the main reason to put one on for me.The stock muffler is a heavy pig also so I would recommend changing that also.I had a cheap supertrapp muffler left over from anoth...

I was riding my wifes honda shadow to San Antonio last week end when traffic suddenly stopped and caught me off guard.I applied the brakes hard and the back brake locked up.So I let off the back brake and continued with the front and managed to stop. If I were on my rockster I would have simply appl...

Thanks fnfalman for the info.It seems there is no end to mods once you start and it can get expensive.I will probably get a power commander and do some sort of mod for the intake and then have it dynoed and mapped.I like this bike alot and it just fits the way I ride.

I'm not worried about the cost.I've probably have spent $10,000 on upgrades and mods on the harleys and yamahas I've had in the past six years I've been back in motorcycling.
I also apologize for not doing a search. With the sparse posting that goes on in this forum I did'nt think anyone would mind.

rockster exhaust

Man I'm really stoked about my Rockster and the exhaust I'm playing with.First I installed a sebring y-pipe.I was riding this morning and 1st gear roll-on wheelies were fairly easy but I want a little more noise. So I had this cheap supertrapp slip-on I used to have on a roadstar warrior.I took the ...

Running Lean?

I installed a y-pipe on my 04 rockster the other day and yesterday was my first chance to try it out.I had to go from Kerrville to Fredericksburg, Tx. which is about 20 miles and I was in a hurry so I was running about 80 miles an hour.I stopped to get a redbull on the way back and noticed my header...

Thats a great deal and a great bike. When you sell it you should get at least 4 grand for it.Valve adjustments on that bike are at 26,000 miles,so your good for a while. The FZOA forum is one of the best bike forums around but Desmo one of the main moderaters hates BMWs.

I recently got an 04 rockster that only had 1700 miles.I traded an 01 speed triple in on the rockster and I really like the BMW better.I feel more confident in the twisties on the R than I did on the sp3.Also I could see myself doing some serious touring on the BMW.The rockster is just a joy to ride...

It was a rattle coming from the fuel pump area,so they removed the fuel pump and it checked out ok.The service guy said it was probablyone of the fuel line connections rattling against the tank.

Lone Star BMW

I rode my rockster to Lonestar BMW in Austin,Tx. to have a rattle checked out yesterday. My bike is an 04 so I figured I might still have some warranty left. When I got there the service guy said it had ran out last month but he would take care of me anyway. They fixed the rattle and I was on my way wi...

I've had a V-MAX and a speed triple in the past and I am sure I would have lot my license or gotten hurt on those bikes. Its just too easy to go 120 miles an hour on those bikes.I've got an 04 rockster now and of all the bikes I've had this is the most well rounded.
