I loved my Metzler Z6s (that came on the bike when I bought it) and I got Z8s when they needed replacement.
I hated them and took them off after a couple of months.
I found the rubber wasn't sticky enough and was sliding around too much when I was on the throttle.

I have a Givi A750 on my R1150R and it does a great job of lifting the wind off my torso. It still leaves the wind around my head (which I always find quieter than trying to shield the helmet from the wind - it usually results in buffeting) Get it colour matched and it looks great.
