Found a set at a good price and picked them up today. They are mechanically sound but aesthetics are not the best, scuffs and scrapes. Any tips on how to give them a clean look?

Yes, I remember when my bike was my principle source of transportation; I was young and a whole lot tougher than I am now

This bike definitely has character. I like it. I bought mine the end of September and plated it on October first. (600 km) Maintenance learning curve will have to be pretty quick as dealer charged 106.$ and change for an oil change.
