I have this modified Parabellum Super Tour I'd be willing to sell. I don't use it anymore. I used to put it on in the winter for more coverage than my BMW flyscreen.

Re: Whizzy Maintenance Schedule
I have always changed mine every year-clutch too-until 2019. I went 2 years but also was not riding as much. I live in Virginia where it is extremely humid in the summer. I was pretty pleased with the condition (color) of the fluid. It wasn't much darker than when I put it in there. I'm not saying I...

I don't have an answer for the first question....but I'll definitely go with the aftermarket input shaft with the extended length.

I, for one, really appreciate all you have done through out the years. It has been a great source of information and also led to countless friendships and group rides. I totally understand if and when the site has to retire. Thanks for the ride!

Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder
I change mine every year when I change the brake fluid. I think it calls for it to be done every other year.
I really don't worry about slave cylinders, splines, final drive anymore. If it happens it happens....I have had 78K miles virtually trouble free. I love this bike.

I would check with your dealer. At one point I asked my dealer about Rockster stripes and they said they could get them.

I'm not positive, but I think the wind was designed to be directed to the oil coolers.

Re: R1150R tires again!
I have been very happy with any of the Pilot Road series tire from Michelin. Long lasting and good grip even in the rain. I have the Roadsmart II with a little over 1000 miles and they have been good so far although I have not been in the rain with them yet. They were less than the PR but I'll have ...

Re: True or false ?
You may not have to but, to really have the bike run at it's best it is recommended that the TB's be synched after valve adjustment. I think a lot of the bikes that did have a surge issue really did benefit from an accurate adjustment of both and are both part of the "regular" service inte...

I'm wondering if 1 or both of the TB butterflies are not bad. I would at this point take it to BMW in Chesapeake and let them sort it out.

The Teflon coating does not attract dirt, dust, or debris. Any lube will over time.

Re: Subframe - What are these tabs and mount point for?
I think this has come up before....at least the curved tab. No one at the time had any real knowledge on what it could have been for and we do know it is useless to open a beer bottle!
