I see about 38 mpg, but that's riding pretty hard in the twisties with speeds consistently 75-80 mph.

This is the same outdated version I bought off of eBay, it's dated 07/01. As I have a 2004 Rockster with twin-spark heads, I sure wish there was a newer version maiking it's way around the internet.

I had the standard cases on my R1150GS. On my Rockster, they looked terrible. I went with the city cases and they're great for what I use them for (gloves, jacket liner, maps, etc.).

I just bought a set from Bob's. I sent them one of my keys in advance and they arrived keyed and ready to go.

I went a new Chevron gas station where they just replaced the three-hose pumps with one-hose pumps. The guys were working on the pumps and had the panels removed; I was also able to ask them some technical questions. The hose is 3/4" I.D. and 8 feet long. There's 6 feet of 3/4" I.D. piping...

If you use any wax on it at all, it loses it's flat-black look. I saw one at the dealer where the customer had used regular car wax, it was a mess. The dealer was going to send it out to a paint shop to see if it could be stripped off.

I just bought one of the bleed screws two weeks ago from Bob's BMW. The BMW part number is 34 21 2 330 310. It works like a charm.

I like Bob's BMW in Maryland and have been ordering from them for about 12 years. They may not be the cheapest but they have the best customer service I've ever seen.

I have a 2004 Rockster with no ABS and it's a R1150RA. I always thought that the "A" meant ABS, apparently I was wrong.

doug you are right. the sport/standard 6th shifts from 5th to 6th the same as it shifts from 4th to 5th. If you have the OD it does not feel right to shift to 6th until you are going over 70 mph. I have had both and both have their advantages and disavantages. Not a big deal in my book. That's true...
