Sounds like a good price for Cali. I just bought my '03 in May for $7000 from the dealer here in Daytona and now he has the same bike w/o bags for $8,000. Go for the plunge, it's so worth it.
I have the stock seat and ride fine for my 6'3" 260lb body.

Welcome aboard

Ok, so everyone agrees with the 36/42, but what is the weight factor for a 2 up ride.
I top out at 250 plus, does that still qualify for a solo ride or should I bump the pressure.
I have set my preload up for a little stiffer ride and currently am running 38 in the rear (Pilot Road).

ok, so now I have rolled my bars forward and am liking the reach. I am not liking the brake and clutch to be all the way rolled over, how does one adjust that? I was looking for screws to loosen and am not sure what one to loosen to roll the brake and clutch back to a normal position.

Big fat hands and little grips

Howdy all.
Does anyone else feel that their hands are crowded on the standard heated grips?
Mine ride the ridge and gets uncomfortable after an hour or so.

Is there any way to lengthen the grip or aftermarket?

Was the Autocom worth the money?

I have the Roady2 myself and didn't know what to use for
headphones or a system. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for
a comm system and never ride 2 up.

Anyone else find anything that works?...

XM Radio

Hey all.....

Since I have been riding now to work, I miss my XM radio that was in the
truck.

What have you all done to get a little music to the ride on those morning commutes?

Thanks for the input, I love this forum. :D

ok, here's the next question to this?....
Is anyone over 6'-2" and have the 380 screen?
I have the touring screen and it is great at the high speeds,
but have an uneasiness about switching to the 380 if highway
speeds whip my big ol' mellon around..

Scheduled Maintenance

Thanks for all the info guys. I didn't think it would be to tough, but just wanted to get some feedback from others. There is one more thing maybe everyone can help with.... I know the bike is fuel injected, but has a choke on it to warm up. I notice that even on a 70 degree morining I still need to...

Scheduled Maintenance

Well here goes nothing..... I am a first time rider with the first posting of my short lived riding career. I have an '03 for 6 weeks now and ride daily to work. Just hit the 18,000 mark and looking to do the maintenance. My question is.... I rode over 2k miles in the 6 weeks, so basically I would b...
