Re: Differance between Rokster & R1150R
Is it the paralever strut you call paralever arm in your list? Both Roadster and Rockster has 385 mm paralever strut, the GS has 365 mm! And I don't believe that Rockster and 1100S share suspension, the 1100S has pretension(?) in the front set with a wheel through the tank, Rockster has pretension ...

Re: Opinions on the Schuberth S1 helmet
hello paul, i remember when i first tried on my R1 it felt fairly tight but felt just right when it was actually on. i struggled a bit taking it off but maybe not as severe as you. i think i got used to it as well as the helmet breaking in over time. like i said, it's super quiet compared to other h...

Glad to hear you're relatively OK Hydra. Thanks for posting about your mishap. We all learn from other's experiences. I'm curious to just where you encountered the bee. I ride those roads often. Was it on Highway 1 south of Olema? Anywhere near Five Brooks Stables? You mentioned your speed at the t...

yes, i was thinking of replacing them anyway...boxermania wrote:hydra
If your handle bar needs replacing, you might consider a Renthal bar, they have all types and shapes and are pretty inexpensive. They can be found at any serious bike shop.....you might even want to imrpove your riding position.

Re: Opinions on the Schuberth S1 helmet
EDIT: looks like i was a bit late on posting this. you must have posted while i was writing...oh well. if you're looking for a quiet helmet then i would go for the schuberth R1. i actually just had a crash with this helmet and although it was in the grass, i was traveling about 50mph when i hit the ...

hydra.....I'm glad you are well.....I've had two encounters with the little rascals and remmebre them like yesterday. hey boxermania, so what's your link to performance/bikes/cars? i really don't have any experience with engine's except for what i've picked up along the way from shop mechanic's and guys like you and zax on the forums. and just your basic run of the mill car/bike buff. i'm an audio/music engineer an...

ok hydra ..... best you can get without a monster price tag, would be 1100S cams high lift very responsive profile 8) cost me nothing but a cpl of spare days to flow the heads @ work then porting out to suit the new flow parameters, I never polish as it destroys the airflow, if you must polish some...
