Hi all. Here in Western Australia, the `open road' limit is 110 kilometres per hour (68mph). My 2002 bike (sixth gear overdrive) sits on the limit for hours at about 3600 RPM. Overtaking semis and road trains? Roll-on acceleration in sixth is pretty damn good, downshifting to fifth is rarely needed....

New member here, I discovered this board while seeking a higher seat for my 2002 R1150R. As a returning rider whose last bike was an R80/7, I bought the R 18 months ago, it has the low seat. I'm six foot two and 64 years old, so my knees protest a bit when I visit my daughter, a ride of 510 kilometr...
