After more researching, it doesn't really seem that this filter is any better then the average paper filter. Most filters can claim to filter 35 microns.

R1100R Battery Non ABS
I have a question for you R1100R owners w/o ABS brakes.
I recently had the tank off of my bike and noticed the big space behind the battery. Has anyone moved the battery back into this space? This would move the space up front and allow it to be easily utilized for storage.
