I saw a smoked grey at my dealer and it looked so bland. Maybe the lighting in the showroom was poor but geeze it looked pretty crappy.

Can anyone with the corbin seat comment on the height/ reach to the pegs of this seat vs the std BMW seat. Corbin states that its taller than the low seat but how does it compare to the std bmw seat

R1200R fit for taller riders.

Looking for opinions on the comfort of the R1200r for taller riders. Looking to replace the GS with the R as I dont do any offroad and the GS is just too top heavy. I also want the improved transmission/engine over my 2005 model GS. I would definitely get the high seat and likely get a corbin made 1...

I had a remus hexacone and remus headers on my R1200Gs. the bike was too loud and blatty with both. Since I wanted to retain the power advantage of the headers I put the stock can back on with the remus headers and it sounds great. I would lean towards akra, i think they sound better, less blatty, l...

Re: Your thoughts on upgrading to an R1100R

I had a 1994 R1100R, I think it was the first year it came out. I loved the bike. I think its head over heels better looking than the R1150R. When I decided to upgrade I tested an R1150R and hated the riding position. I felt it was much more aggressive than the R1100R. At the time I really wanted a ...

Re: Corbin seat - about to pull the trigger

I just got my seat today. Unboxed it and is one good looking piece of work. I will post pictures tomorrow. I do have one problem though. It fits very nice and snug but the seat latch won't catch. I've tried sitting on it both driver and passenger positions, leaning on it, dropping it in quickly but...
