I was looking at the staintune collecter, queried local distributor and staintune themselves where they stated that the collector was for bikes up to 2003 model, but none listed for 04-05's.

Were there any modification to the bikes for 04-05 that would affect the installation of the collector?

They are wider bars, from edge to edge about 84cm across.

You can change the roadster bars to rockster and have enough cable reach, but not the other way.

Well worth it especially if you like leaning a little more forward.

I had the misfortune of riding my rockster into town few weeks back when temps were hitting 40C ~105F (do not pass spring, go directly to summer) in stop start traffic.
