The silver engine and drive housings are not usually painted. Some have bare metal, others may be clear coated. Hence there would be little change in color unless the clear coat yellows.

The headers are stainless. The CAT and muffler outer sleeve are chromed steel.

I replaced the pitiful t4 with a h6w. Same bulb as in the license plate light. Filed one tang down to fit holder. Looks MUCH brighter.
