R12R Vibration
I spoke with a fellow R12R owner, who has owned multiple BMW's and is a pretty handy mechanic. His R12 also has the vibration under 4k. It is not a breaker by any means, but it is there.
Strictly at the 3600-3700 range, and can be felt in virtually every gear at that rpm. Based on Don E's input I called a dealer and have set up an appt. for next Tuesday. I advised the dealer that I just went thru the 6k service, he commented maybe I didn't get the valves and or throttle bodies tuned in just right................I wanted to ask, then the folks up at Jessup when they did the 600 mile service must have screwed up the TB and valves, because the bike has been vibrating since the day I purchased it from the orginal owner with 1,725 miles, so my doing the 6k didn't have a dam thing to do with it. The R12 runs terriric absent the 36-37 vibration.
Looking forward to your further input.
