Can I reinvent my R1150R
Wunderlich makes many products which will allow you to configure the bike to your taste/comfort. You could start with the Touring Handlebars or look at the euro bars for R1200C which will bring the grips up and back. They also have adapters to lower the pegs etc. All of thier stuff is TUV approved which is necessary if the bike is registered in Germany. You can make it a cruiser along the idea of the Road King but anything more radical would not meet TUV standards.

He's right, that is a very interesting custom, but seems that the only R involved is the drivetrain, perhaps this was a case of making lemonade when the lemon was the outcome of a crash. At any rate, seems like a better idea if you want a cruiser type R to build one with a custom frame, etc, like this beauty. Or buy an R1200C?
Over the years I've been surfing the web about R bikes I've seen a few interesting custom jobs...particularly and metalflake orange / cream somewhere in the Netherlands.
Cruiser, you might start with barbacks and some of the other suggestions in the responses, think you might also want to look at a Russel Seat. The Russel's are supposed to be ultra comfy, but in my mind, they also emulate the look of a cruiser type seat...and do some ultra cool cruiser style paint job.
