Too bad on the weather guys.... not had decent snow in my part of the UK for years now!

At least you cab ride out on snowmobiles and have fun. one flurry in the Uk and the country grinds to a halt

Summer may soon be here......but be quick, it soon goes.

Mike,
I ordered the stripe decal kit from Wagners and applied them myself. (You could also get them from Max or Second Wind) No big deal.

Gotta ditch the can and put a resonator on, hand gurads to go on.

Chop all that plastic away from the rear end and replace number plate with a smaller one - looks much better.

Yup, simple peel and stick........If you have never done this, you might want someone to help as the kit costs about $280 (only BMW could get away with selling a few decals for that amount of $$)

They need to be ordered, I tried everywhere in the country and no one had them in stock.

Yes, but I'm sure it's very high quality vinyl...

as a signmaker by trade, i would find the local sign guy,get friendly with him and see what vinyl's he has access to.

Tell him what you want to do, show him pics and see what he can do for you.
be a damn site cheaper than the BMW stuff

To give some idea, i can buy a quality vinyl for $6 a metre long x760mm wide
and that vinyl is a '10 year cast' type, normal 5 year is loads cheaper.

See what specials he can get.... chrome silver would look the dogs danglies. There are some fantastic finishes out there..most come from the States anyway..look up 'Coburns' they do some neat colour change effects.

often referred to in the Uk as

'the dogs bo**locks' or 'dogs bo**ox' for short
but me being of a genteel nature(not) didn't want to appear uncouth

a signature line i saw else where

" These Korean meatballs are the dogs bo**ox"..... i thought that funny
