Really really good.
I posted that on a Harley list I'm also on. One of the major differences between Harley people and Beemer people is we've learned to laugh at ourselves.

Funny how many places that's shown up in the past 24 hours. It's on two threads on ADV Rider.

AWESOME!

Do we know who made it? It's interesting that they chose a Honda VFR (ie. Magna). Honda stopped making that bike several years ago and has no firm plans to reintroduce it. Thus, it would be weird for this to be a marketing campaign from Honda, unless its several years old.

And yes the VFR did rule! Some say it defined the "power cruisers" category. Too bad it was just a little bit too slow (for my taste), had a single disk in the front and a freakin DRUM in the rear. Unacceptable for modern 2 wheeled travel.

That was great!! Good to see everyone here has a sense of humor about their rides. I saw one a few months back using that same film, but the topic was Giants vs. Cowboys. Also very funny.

I think they're referring to the Interceptor.

Nup. VFR is your Interceptor. Still a well-regarded sports tourer, at least here in upside-down land. Still available, too:

Don't think we were blessed (cough) with the Magna - the VT750 was marketed in various guises instead. Nice mid-range bike:

If anyone cares, the source film is "Der Untergang" (The Downfall), 2004, starring Bruno Ganz - got an academy award nomination for best foreign film. Very compelling - I have it on DVD but you'll have to bring your own pilsener.
