Tire Pressure on PR2's

A couple of hundred miles in and I can't come up with one bad thing to day about these tires. One question I can't get out of my head is the air pressure on a dual compound tire. Do you see any need to change it up or down? What pressures have you been running?

When I got my Michelin Pilot Road 2s, the dealership said to use the tire pressures advised in the Owner's Manual. I have never had tires that had such great performance. I'm sold on mine!

I initally followed the Bridgestone pressures for the dual compound Battlax BT021, which are much higher than in the manual.
36psi front and 42psi rear for all conditions IIRC. Dropped the rear to 40psi to improve the ride quality a bit.
BMW dealer also said manual pressures were now considered way too low.
After a couple of thousand miles I can see some graining on the softer shoulders but not on the harder centre of the tread.
Had a few minor deviations on lose gravel but they feel fine to me.

Check the tyre manufacturers web site for pressure recommendations.

I run Pilot Road 2 for the last 9K. My tire guy advised me to run Front=40 & Rear=42
My tires look good (after 9K) and I like the grip on the wet road and comfort of the ride.
I hope to get 15K out of the Rear tire and maybe 20K out of the Front.
My riding buddy got 12k out of the rear tire PR2 but he rides his bike like he stole it.
I am sold on PR2. 40-Front and 42-Rear is ideal for me.
