Just-Beeming,
Did you source the Ohlins through PDXmoto or elsewhere?
Hey, Mrs. Sweatmark and I agree with your Oregon weather assessment.
When summer finally comes around, you interested in the potential West Coast R1150R Fest #2?

Re: shocks for R1150R
I have priced out a set of Works Performance at $500 front and $700 rear from a local dealer in the Seattle area. I am waiting for tax returns before I place the order. They are built to order, so I was told it takes about 2 weeks.
Hey SweatMark...
Keep us posted on the westcoast R meet-up.
I will be down in your area come April for our annual Pelican Run. This a two day ride through the coast range from Scapoose to Pacific City and back. It usually is a group from Seattle and Portland. We let the Oregon riders do the guiding of course...
Check us out on "Yahoo Groups PNWRoadRiders". It is an email server forum loosly based out of Seattle, but there are many riders from Oregon on there as well.

Re: shocks for R1150R
The someone was me. I looked recently but did not see any shocks, but it might be worth giving them a call. I remember they were very helpful and VERY CHEAP I think my brand new rear shock from them was about $30.Buckster wrote:http://www.martinconquest.com/home/
Someone on this board got a great price on shocks from this company. I saved the website.

Re: shocks for R1150R
Always up for a ride with some other great R bikes and R riders. We are the best!
Keep me in the loop....
Staying on topic with this thread....I put an hour on my new Ohlins last weekend, they feel fabulous....my tires a new so I did not dig into my corners like I might normally...plus there is still a lot of unexpected gravel on the roads....but so far I am really really happy with upgrades I have just made,
Ohlins
Zumo 450 GPS
and Pilot Road dual compound tires.
Radar Detector is next......
JB (just because)
