Schwarzkopf - or black head

Post by TracyPrier »

Hi all

I'm currently looking for my next bike. Sold the F650 and am after an 850 or 1100R.

Heres a question: did the early 1100's ever come out with black coloured rocker covers/heads? I'm looking at one and when I asked the owner he said it came that way.

My initial thought was that it had been dropped, scraped the rocker covers and this was the poor-mans fix.

Thanks
Tracy

Black rocker covers? Never seen on older models. Different colors started with the Rocksters if I am not mistaken.

Kind regards

This fellow did a good job restyling his R1100R, but he wants to get rid of it since he's selling it.

No, 850/1100 valve covers in silver and chrome flavors only.
