Looking to install a voltmeter?

Post by boxermania »

Found this while on the net, the nice thing is that it will fit perfectly in place of the R1150R clock.

You could install P3 lights with the "voltmeter option" add visibility http://www.skenedesign.com/lights/ a bit pricey, but they're amazing!!One more option I'm saving up for.

Damnit! I wish I knew about the voltmeter before I bought and installed the clock.

Here is another option, http://www.datelmeters.com/Misc/20pcdcm_dim.html . It won't fit where the clock goes but is small, accurate and weatherproof, other than the rear terminals being exposed.

There is also a temp gauge that fits in place of the clock. Someone selling her bike showed the clock bezel installed over the temp gauge such that it look absolutely stock. It looked sweet.

I agree with Lion Lady, the P3 lights with voltmeter are great, and to me the perfect set up would be the temp gauge and P3+.

Except I like the clock! :D

I've used this digital voltmeter on my last three rides with no problems. It's very easy to install as well.

The folks were matter of fact and easy to deal with. Ran the last one off a Centech AP2 1/2 switched fuse panel to keep track of what all my gizmo's were up to along with the heart of the beast.
