My new-to-me bike was delivered last Friday, and I completed the MSF course (using the provided, smaller bike) over the weekend, getting my license on Tuesday morning. The MSF instructors (who were great) very generously offered to meet me at an empty parking lot that afternoon to help me get used to the bigger bike. In related news, I've become a member. Thanks for all the info and support as I bought (and now rode!) my first bike.

Jeez... Your first bike is an 1150R! My first (street) bike was a 1971 Honda CL175. Course that was 1976 and I was 16 years old, but STILL! Congratulations and enjoy.
I was away on business this weekend, but looks like good weather for riding here in Milwaukee this week.
