Recently got another 2004 R1150Rt-p
The low beam headlight shines to high.
unable to adjust lower even with adjuster on headlight module turning all the way clockwise as per manual etc. In fact I tuned so far as to strip black 10mm nut off of adjusting stem! So I removed headlight module from fairing to repair that, on RH side I see the track looking through headlight lens but movement seems slight, should I have removed lens from module (glued on) and did futher trouble shooting as bike is almost unrideable at night as beam is so high shines on the OH freeway signs. Chapter 68.6 in manual on adjustment directions really of no help! The knob on inst. panel of little help of coarse as its fine tuning.
Would hate like h*** to purchase another headlight module as expensive as all getout even used/2nd hand.
Any fixes or hints?
