Sticky Shifting
Maybe it's due to the very cold winter here in Colorado, but my gear shift lever is sticking for a bit when I press it down from neutral into first gear. I'm hoping that this isn't a transmission thing . . . any thoughts? Thanks.

Re: Sticky Shifting
A little suggestion from my side. Disconnect the ball joints on your shifter and re-grease them. When disconnected check the axle of your shifter. There is a "bearing" made of dura-plastic which may need some cleaning or replacement.
If all this does not cure then you may have a little problem.

Re: Sticky Shifting
Thanks, Oliver.
Took her out for a ride today and it was up in the 50's: absolutely no sticking. FYI, if anybody plans on riding the Peak to Peak Hwy in Colorado, I would advise against it until May! Snow melt, sand/gravel, and fifty mph winds today.
But we did win a couple of hundred in Black Hawk!
