RT1100 setting valves w tupperware on
Easy to set valves with tupperware on and very easy to set valves. Huge diff in engine smoothness and idle.

You have to remove the valve covers, can you do that without removing your tupperware
No offense man, but there is reason we don't have a RT subforum. This is a forum dedicated to roadsters. I would suggest going on http://bmwsporttouring.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php for information regarding RT's. They have great information, and are very helpfull.

I'm on both forums and this forum has tons more useful info.
RT riders are gone on cross country trips all the time so they dont post often.
Thanks for the tip

And if this is roadster forum only then look at forum index:

Like bimmerguy I too have an RT, I use a variety of forums, and find r1150r.org stands out for its wisdom, wit and warmth.bimmerguy wrote

And while r1150r.org doesn't have a dedicated RT sub-forum this doesn't much matter because most of the R posts are relevant to the RT and vice versa.
On the odd occasion my post on the R sub-forum referred the an RT specific issue the wisdom, wit and warmth were still forthcoming.
Congratulations to everyone on making this the best BMW forum on the internet.
