I write from Madrid, I do not express very well in English, and I use a translator, small French study, but soon I'll get to the English,
congratulations on the page and your fellow members.
to the point, I want to put a rear fender to protect the rear of the bike in the rain, I have seen almost all ildenberg, puig, machineart, Wunderlich ....
but I have a doubt, most are anchored to the shooter and the rear brake caliper,
As I read, I think the important thing is to just go anchored to the brake caliper,
to avoid chafing problems with the tire, I have reported good?
or am I wrong?
is this the best option?

I have the carbon ilmberger hugger. It does not chafe the tires and works well. It is the best looking of the bunch, especially on the Classic and all black r12r's IMHO, albeit it is a bit pricey.

Re: mulling over the musdling
I have a Mudsling and it fits and works well, but there is a minimum of clearance between the Mudsling and the plastic guard on the OE damper. I have aftermarket shocks so it doesn't matter.
Re: mulling over the musdling
Same is true for clearance for the ilmberger. I have an Ilmberger on my bike but if I'd do it again I would by the Mudsling.motoracer8 wrote:I have a Mudsling and it fits and works well, but there is a minimum of clearance between the Mudsling and the plastic guard on the OE damper. Re: mulling over the musdling
Hi all, I wonder if what matters is where they need to go-secured anchor points of the rear fender, ie if they have to go alone in the brake caliper, only serve the ildenberg, which is anchored to the clamp,
all others are anchored to the shooter tb pinion and second I read slash.
I think I do not understand well
