Access to Battery on R1150r

Post by lph114 »

Hi
I need to access the batteryon my R1150r to connect new wiring for accessories.
Although the tank lifts up slightly, it is not sufficient to let me use a spanner or socket.
Is there any way of removing the battery, or creating more working room without removing the tank ?
Cheers
Paul

No, you have to pull the tank, it's not that big a deal. Good time to replace the disconnects if they have not already been replaced.
Tip, save one of the old male disconnects, add a piece of hose, and use it to drain the tank.

Good time to replace the air filter too.
