...couldn't find a thing on whether or not the gas tank must be removed on a '04 R to get to the vitals.

Searched here, IBMWR and others...nada.

Oops.. From what I gather, it's the same general procedure as the 1100.
Remove the canister and hoses, except for the one from the fuel overflow, and cap both TB's..

Yeah, that much I gathered but I didn't have time the other night to check closely to see if the tank has to be removed but I do seem to remember looking under there once and thinking "hells bells the tanks in the way".

Must be a black topic though as it looks like them what know's are stayin' mum!
