Extended Warranty - Experiences??

Post by Rebel Beemer »

:?: So, my bike goes out of the factory warranty at the end of March 2006. I am looking at adding a 3 year extended warranty at a cost of about $1,000. Anyone out there bought this product and have a recommendation one way or the other? Also, for service work, can anyone tell me about their experiences with either Max BMW or Second Wind BMW? Or, does anyone use Greater Boston Motorsports in Arlington, MA? 8)

I do not have the extended warranty but i do bring my bike to secondwind bmw, they have always done a great job and taken care of any issues i have had. Not to mention they are a great bunch of people there. I have not heard any bad about max bmw so i can't fairly comment. If you want you can pm and we can talk. Take care.

Max BMW has an excellent reputation as a full service dealer. He has contributed to the BMW community in many ways, particularly by sponsoring ride events, and support for the riders.

If you join the Yankee Beemers, you'll find a lot of riders there who swear by them. hint hint javascript:emoticon(':smt111')

Already contacted that fine bunch - also going to go for Three Fourths Rounder tomorrow (i.e. riding in 20 degree weather). Ought to be down right frosty.
