Under normal conditions I do the same but this time it happened so fast I did not have an opportunity to do anything. I have been second guessing myself ever since it happened so today I drove the route and replayed the scenario in my head. I honestly don't think I could have done anything other than run the yield sign without knowing the lane was clear. On a happier note I got another look at my bike today and it is pretty beaten up but they say it is repairable the estimate is about $6500.

$6500 repair damage on a Roadster?? I believe that should be total write off.

Anyone else with an opinion??

I got a call from my insurance company today and they are going to pay to have the bike repaired the final estimate is $6100. According to the insurance company that is less than 80% of the retail value. If BMW has all the parts I should get it back by the end of next week :D :D :D
