I've just arrived.....at home actually. But without the all important "Owners manual". Quick question.........
1. Is there a place to download an owners manual?
2. What are the indicator lights?
Cheers!

Welcome!!! Not sure about question #1 (however, some stout soul ought to scan the owner's manual),but what do you mean about the indicator lights? Left hand turn signal on the left side. z
ight hand signal on the right side.
Turn signal cancel switch is
also on the right side.
You'll honk your horn now and then when wanting to turn left and you'll hit the turn signal when you want to honk your horn...
It takes time to get used to...

This is a pretty good link for a technical manual, it's not strictly for the RR but is pretty good info.

Thanks!
Thanks for the oilhead maintenace manual...thats a great place to start.
The indicator lights that I'm looking at are the ones next to the speedo. The Rockster I have has only 4500 miles on it. Its Black and Orange. I love it, just didn't get one of those manuals.
My question is, I noticed the Brake Failure light blinks until the motorcycle start moving. IS this normal? I have ABS on the bike and wondered if that had something to do with it.
Thanks for the help guys/gals.

I think it was going off after reaching 5 mph???Rog(UK) - Yorkshire Dales wrote:Hi Jason. Yes, it's completely normal for that light to blink until you have ridden for three or four seconds. The system is checking that the anti-lock brake system is fully operational when the wheels are turning.
Ride safely.

Jason - More to the point - if I remember correctly - do NOT use the brakes untill the red light on the right (I mean right on the left, next to the blinking one) goes off, or the ABS will report a failure. If you have to start uphill/downhill - get in gear (you should be, the bike would have fallen otherwise), switch the ignition on, wait, then engage the brakes, then disengage from gear, then switch on the engine.
Everyone, please correct me if I am wrong ... that damn wine ... hic.
