Me too! 2000 classic red with 103,000 miles. Still gets 30 mpg at 80 mph on regular. Yer basic British sportscar with out the Lucas 'n' leaks.

Oops!! Just noticed you're from the UK. Terribly sorry about that crack about Lucas 'N' leaks.

Me too! :o Both black, both roadsters  , and both a helluva lot of fun! My Beak's an 02 (black engine, sport 6th option), my Miata's a 1996 1.6 (yeah, one of those bastardized euro models)

check out our club website at http://www.miataclub.ph/mcp-home.htm

lotsa pics of both roadsters on the funrun section, feel free to browse.

BTW, that's me on the top right doing the one handed donuts 8)

Oops, sorry too for the "bastardized euro model'' plug  But it's the only place with a 1996 with a detuned 1.6 (90hp) :x ', you know what I mean...

Actually when I bought my r1150r in 2004, i was seriously considering a miata. I had a tough time deciding which to get. I could only afford one obviously. Sometime soon i hope to get one.

My wife and I have owned our red 1994 Miata since 1996 (second owners). Unless it's raining very hard, its black top is down. It's our extra car (65k miles). We absolutely love this Miata - makes going anywhere more fun.

I'd love to upgrade the Miata's suspension and perform some other modifications but my other Roadster gets most of the attention these past few years. The Miata has received a a nice luggage rack and a stylebar / windblocker though.
