I have had a Laser Hot Cam for 4 years, full system with chip.I've had lots of positive comments on the sound, not too loud.It looks sweet, and I can use the saddle bags and centre stand. The only drawback is I have to remove it for oil changes.Nice quality craftmanship, but pricey.

I have a full Remus system with chip. Am very pleased with performance, especially fattens up the mid range power, and fuel economy hasnt suffered, unless on the gas more. :D
I dont have to remove any bits to service, centre stand, and panniers still fit as normal.
I run mine with the baffle in, as it is a good sound , without making too much noise. Plus, I have a policeman 2 houses down.

Exhaust systems

I've got a Staintune on my RT - looks good, certainly it's well finished & sounds good with the "baffle" in situ.

I've treated myself to another for my 1150R, so I guess that sums up my feelings.

I like the Remus, w/o the baffle, as I can't tell the difference either way. 8)
I also went with full size panniers, which adds significant storage.

Anyone heard of the QDExhaust - made in Itally? I have been offered a full system by the garage that does my service free of charge as a demo. He will be doing a full before and after dyno on HP and exhaust gasses.

QDExhaust is at http://www.qdexhaust.it/

ooopppssss

I just saw the price of the new system (true - Switzerland reseller, since the manufacturer's website is a bit useless)(Ducati Monster, not BMW)

"prices from 1600 CHF" - which would work out at around £660.

I agree - it is not only exhaust, but headers as well ... but ...
