Anyone know if Aeroflow intends to make a set-up for the R12R as they did for the R1150R? I don't have any intention of trading my R1150R equipped with Aeroflow (and am avoiding an R12R test ride for this reason), but I refuse to buy a bike that Aeroflow cannot outfit. It's just that good on my 1150. I know they make one for the GS.

I visited Paige in person to plead with him. He's not going to build a screen for the R12R. He lost money on the R1150R production run, once you factor in the time value of capital -- it took 9 years to sell the inventory.
I was on the verge of going back to a GS so I could use an Aeroflow again. I also test-rode Paige's personal 650GS twin with his screen on it. Very nice, but I couldn't live with that little motor after having a boxer...
I ended up with the Scout fairing on my R, with some mounting modifications, and it's now as smooth as the Aero was on my old GS. Lots of air on arms and legs, but smooth and quiet on the torso and head. Can ride with face shield open, and only need earplugs if I'm going to be on the freeway for an extended drive. I can listen to my helmet speakers without blaring the volume.
But, one has to decide if they like the fairing look. It's not quite as elegant as the OEM sport fairings on the 70s and 80s bikes, but it's pretty close. If the Parabellum folks could be bothered to build a mold so the screen would be convex on the upward axis...this thing would be truly perfect.

Now that a few months have gone by, I can answer my own question!
The Scout gives 100% of the head/torso protection of an RT. And 0% of the arms and legs protection.
That pretty much sums it up.
