What I meant to say was that I replaced the rear pads after 11K. The original owner thought that he replaced the rears at least 2 times and couldn't remember replacing the fronts. So it sounds like the rears go 11 to 15k miles and the fronts go almost forever on my Rockster with ABS. I use the front brake most of the time. No clue what the ABS does with the rear.

Tomorrow I get a new set of Angel GT's installed. The parts guy at MOTO GHOST in PHX, AZ suggested them. My PR2's are at the warebars in the front and almost there on the rear. I would have put a Dunlap K-70 on the rear and an F-4 or 5 on the front (on my '67' 350 Yamaha ring-dinger)!

My commute is mostly on the rubberized asphalt of I-10. I presure up to 40lbs front and rear. I check the presure about every 2 weeks or when I feel like the tires are squirming in corners. I think that airing up the tires eliminates tread movement while in contact with the road thereby eliminating ware. Or....the PR2s are just tougher than nails. Either way they went 21k plus and I sleep quite soundly on my sleep number bed set at 40.
