Speaking as a pharmacist and a brother of a nurse and uncle of a nursing student...my hat is off to you!!

Way too much work, lousy hours and not near enough compensation for your role in the health care system!! One thing I dont think you need to worry about is finding any job but a position you'll love. The national nursing shortage will provide plenty of oppurtunities to try different roles. Any ICU is challenging and CICU in particular with the 23 diff IV's of pressors and fluids and such. My bias of course but if you've got access to a good ICU familiar RPh, make them your new best friend. That Trissels' chart is oversimplified and useless!! Fluid concentration, drug level interpretation and timing, TPN's, lions, tigers, bears, OH MY!!! Have fun!!
