:D YeHa!! my Sargent seats turned up today from the good oll USof A.
Thanks Randy. Fit perfect, feel good to sit on-not like the original that used to go up my rear end.
I have not rode with them as yet, but will be giving them a hammering this weekend.
I dont think there is much that you can do to the original seats without destroying them. Spend the money and buy quality.

Sorry, in all the excitement I forgot to mention that I can still get both feet flat on the ground( just)
I am 5' 11", so R100SMan, you should be OK as well.
I dont think they upset the lines of the bike, more like complement them.
I am sure my missus is going to like that pillion perch too.

First 75 miles

Post by R100SMan »

Received and installed the new Sargent seat over the weekend and here are my throughts. After 75 miles I love it. Raised the hight so that my legs not longer feel cramped. The bars position feels better as well. The comfort of the seat itself is excellent, much better than Corbins I have had in the past.

Summing up, the first 75 miles have been great and I am very glad I bought the Sargent saddle. Fit and finish of the seat are excellent as well.
Regards

John

My 1st ride with my Sargents was a positive!
240ks without getting off was unheard of with standard seats.
They make the bike look more "expensive" with them on as well. :)
Just got GS hand guards, so will put them on tonight.
Life is so great. :D
