I hope its a dual sport ...........Jeff leads you on a ride down some back roads in WV which turn to dirt,rocks,loose gravel,wash outs,water crossings, serious altitude changes and banjos playing in the distance. All this with storm clouds looming on the horizon. By the way you will have a blast.

Met this guy in somewhere in the South. MLW says "...what model is that?"


This was in Centralia (burning coal mine under town). MLW says "...shouldn't we have a GS for this..."


This was the other side of berm, up the road a mile or two. MLW says "...maybe we should get a GS..."


This was on the way to North Conway NH, ... MLW was not a happy camper ... she said "...we need a GS..."



This was at the top of Mt Washington. She said "...we need a GS..."


The other night after dinner she says "Don't take this the wrong way, and don't hold it against me later on, but.....
I want you to get a GS."


Yesterday, after I listed the RR for sale, MLW says "Do we really have to sell it?"

I have found her to be a wise and far seeing member of the group. It is clear what you should do next.

Bought a new '09 GSA Wednesday.
Will be picking it up soon (lot of snow up here now).

At least you are on a BMW.

Last group ride I was on, they made me stay at a motel instead of the campground where everyone else was. And I had to ride at the end of the group pretending I was on my own.

As for riding in the back, didn't you do that on your Roadster too!

As to the RR vs GS - brand or model has seldom mattered since the first Bash. Heck, I am probably one of the few that will be there with the same bike I rode to Bash 1, what 7 years ago!?
