Got a used Rick Mayer; had just bought BMW low comfort; hardly used the low comfort. Thought I'd keep both; Now I think I might be good with the Rick Mayer. I'm in San Diego, if someone nearby wants to buy the low comfort so I don't have to contend with shipping send me a PM. Or would trade the as new low comfort for high comfort. I need a little more leg room is the whole deal.

Having tried the seat that comes with the latest Classic (the one that looks like a sway-backed camel) I bought a standard R1200R (2010) seat which was far more comfortable and allowed me to move my backside forward and back. This is now being modified by a local seat guy and will be tried on the track in the next 10 days.

I too have the Bill Meyer saddle and have done about 8000 miles with it. The style is great to look at, the comfort just fine, the black leather luxurious, and the shape allows me to move around and flat-foot at stops (5'-8", 29" inseam)
For longer rides I add a Aerostich sheepskin pad which is easy to slip on and adds even more comfort.

I have been very happy with my Sargent seat for about 15k miles so far. I can easily do eight hours days. The more miles I sit in it, the better it gets. My pillion is happy as well. We both went to Canada on the bike averaging 8hr days for 1,500 miles total and the only complaint we had was that we finish our trip.

I have what ever comes standard on the 2011. The padding is fine but I sure would like to be able to move back and forth a bit. I thin I will eventually find something a but taller and flatter.

I'd love to see more photos with the various posts.

I'm on the verge of ordering the wunderlich seat, looks great and well designed to me. Does anyone have any experience/feedback on it yet?
My stock regular height seat kills me and I did not like the air hawk cushion at all, made me feel disconnected from the bike.

I am VERY happy with my Rick Mayer seat. It provides all day riding comfort and I'll never switch to any other brand.

Having only just completed 200 miles on the bike I can now say that whilst the now standard fit Comfort seat is certainly fairly comfortable, I find the front edge of the pillion seat irritatingly high. As I suffer with a bit of joint movement restriction I cannot actually mount the bike without using the left footpeg for a bunk-up!

The test ride bike I think must have been fitted with the "Sport seat". Whilst I'm tempted to go for the Wunderlich seat, the BMW Sport seat is 100 gbp cheaper and the Wunderlich looks like it may also have the same high pillion seat problem.

My dealer has said he will try to arrange a Sport seat swap for me if he gets one in so I'll try that route first before spending out on a farkley seat :)

Recently replaced the stock low comfort seat on my 2011 with the high comfort seat. It is both higher and it also allows more fore and aft space. So far so good.
