Disturbing,
believe I'll slow down a bit.

I have seen worse. But when your dead, game over forever.

Not really about being 'worse', just different.
I don't know that I have ever seen an accident where the person became lodged in the vehicle and transported some distance.

I saw this on the BMWMOA or Sport Touring forum.
A question that came up is "Why post these pictures?"
I am not sure. Maybe somebody will be so disturbed by the pictures that they will ride more responsibly. I doubt it.
ATGATT.....
and don't run into trucks.

It is for this reason that links for this subject matter is (much) appreciated..... especially by the likes of me. I can't, I won't, I refuse to open it, as I am easily disturbed. I'm already know'n how bad it can be, and I choose to remain sheltered from, and sensitive to, the disturbing.

I won't open it for the same reasons, and I am supposed to, as a moderator.

Ditto. I spent years with review of fatals on the Interstate system as part of my job. My wife still gets to see way too many fatalities involving heavy trucks. I've had more than my fill. But, for those that think it helps, go ahead, you never know.

The pictures are not bloody. They are, on the other hand, of a deceased rider, in a bizarre position.

Yeah. He looks pretty dead to me too. But it could be one of those internet staged photo things that get passed around. For what point I have no clue...but it happens.
How would they know how fast he was going? Does the speedometer freeze at the point of impact? Or maybe just a guesstimate based on how far his helmet was imbedded in the back of the truck?
I didn't understand that he was dragged along. I thought he just rammed a stationary truck on the shoulder. Hmmm?
